Final Publication of the Document
The final publication of an academic article occurs after the "Proofreading" or "Page Proof" stage has been successfully completed. At this stage, the article has already undergone the entire peer-review process, along with the corrections and improvements requested by the journal’s reviewers and editors.
After the authors have reviewed and approved the article’s final proof, they return the corrected and finalized manuscript to the journal’s editorial team. From this point, the journal begins the preparation process for the definitive publication.
Once the document is published and the two-day period for minor corrections has passed, the document is officially and permanently published in the Revista Brasileira de Meio Ambiente. The indexing process in repositories is then initiated to ensure the document’s permanent online availability.
