On Tables

All tables must be numbered using Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, ...). Titles should be placed above the tables, centered (Font size 10), in both Portuguese and English.

Only horizontal lines should be used within a table to distinguish column headers from the body of the table. Tables must be embedded in the text and not submitted separately.

The template available in the Author Guidelines includes an example of a table. If a source is included in the table, it should be placed at the bottom (Font size 9), in both Portuguese and English. It is important to note that every table must be referenced in advance in the manuscript text.

Submit tables as editable text and not as images. Tables can be positioned either above the relevant text in the article or on separate pages at the end. Number the tables consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text, and include any table notes below the body of the table.

Be moderate in the use of tables and ensure that the data presented in them do not duplicate results described elsewhere in the article. Avoid using vertical lines and shading in table cells.
