About the Language of Publication

Please write your text in proper Portuguese. The primary language of the Revista Brasileira de Meio Ambiente is Brazilian Portuguese.

The journal also accepts submissions of articles in Portuguese from countries where Portuguese is the mother tongue. Submissions in Spanish and English are also permitted.

American or British English usage is acceptable, but not a mix of both. Authors who believe their manuscript in English may require editing to eliminate possible grammatical or spelling errors and to conform to proper scientific English standards might consider using professional English editing services.

Articles submitted in another language must also include a version in Portuguese. Articles published in another language will also be presented in Portuguese, as the science of the Revista Brasileira de Meio Ambiente is intended for Brazilians.
